What the Configurator changes

TaskbarX Configurator provides the controls for icon position, animation, speed, visual style, and scheduled startup. Its interface varies by version, so use the labels visible in your installed release.

First-run sequence

  1. Launch TaskbarX.exe from the extracted directory.
  2. Open TaskbarX Configurator.exe from the same directory.
  3. Change only one property, such as offset, to verify the effect.
  4. Click Apply and inspect the taskbar after opening another app window.

Common controls

Position changes the center calculation and offset. Animation controls easing and speed. Style changes the taskbar background where supported. Taskschedule manages the automatic launch task and its delay.

Clicking Apply can create or update a Windows scheduled task. Keep the extracted executable in a stable directory.
