TaskbarX for Windows 10

Learn how TaskbarX centers and styles taskbar icons on Windows 10, with setup and recovery advice.

Windows 10 support

TaskbarX was designed to center Windows 10 taskbar icons when programs open, close or move. It can also animate icon movement, use custom offsets, and style the background where supported.

Setup route

  1. Open the download page to identify the portable ZIP.
  2. Extract all files and launch TaskbarX.exe.
  3. Use Configurator to set position and animation.
  4. Click Apply and confirm the scheduled startup task if you want automatic launch.

When to investigate a problem

If the icon group remains left-aligned, check position and offset. If it does not start after sign-in, inspect the startup task. Optional background styles can differ by Windows 10 build.

Windows 10 reached its general end-of-support date in October 2025. TaskbarX's feature support does not replace OS security updates.
